אתם יודעים, שלנענע שאנו אוהבים להוסיף לתה קוראים בעברית נכונה נענה אבל קוראים לה גם מינתה. תשאלו, מה פתאום מינתה? טוב, אז כיוון ששאלתם, נספר לכם סיפור ממזמן-מזמן. פעם הייתה נערה יפה, שגרה בעולם שמתחת לאדמה, עולמם של השדים והמתים, ושמה של הנערה היה מינתה. מינתה הייתה החברה הראשונה של מלך השדים והמתים. היא אהבה אותו מאוד, אבל הוא לא כל כך אהב אותה. הוא בעצם רצה להתחתן עם נערה יפה יותר, שנקראה פֶרסֶפוֹנֶה. יום אחד הזמין מלך העולם שמתחת לאדמה את פרספונה לארמונו.

"מי זאת המכשפה המכוערת הזאת?", צעקה מינתה למלך, "מה יש, אני כבר לא טובה בשבילך?! ואת- תסתלקי מכאן, יא פרצופה אחת, או שאני קורעת אותך לחתיכות". פרספונה היפה לא יכלה לסבול את הדברים הלא יפים שמינתה אמרה עליה, התנפלה על מינתה וקרעה אותה לגזרים. מלך השדים הצטער מאוד מאוד על מה שהוא גרם למינתה, והסכים להפוך אותה לצמח בעל ריח טוב, הנקרא עד היום בשמה- מינתה.
