Goal:To emphasize the importance of self reliance in building up your own land and creating your own country as compared to the dependence on others which the Jews of the Old Yishuv (who primarily survived on donations from Chutz La'Aretz) represented.

Goals: Familiarize the chanichim with the achievements of the Mossad, the Israeli Intelligence Network; Illustrate some of the skills needed to be a Mossad agent.

Activities:

1.      Games: chasing and spying games relating to the Mossad

2.      Story: “Eli’s Lonely Mission” – the story of Mossad agent Eli Cohen

Goal:

To discuss the purpose and accomplishments of the religious kibbutzim in settlement and security during the founding of the State and since, combination of technology and halacha, and social contributions.

Goal:

To present a picture of Eretz Yisrael 100 years ago in terms of the desolate state of the land and the small size and concentration of the Jewish population.  This description should serve as a backdrop to the future discussions on reclaiming and  rebuilding the Land of Israel.

Goal:

To illustrate an accomplishment of the chalutzim, with a tie-in to the Bnei Akiva members who played a part in settling Birya.

To teach the chanichim as much as possible about the people who influenced the state of

Israel.

For the chanichim to see the evolution of halacha

The aim is  the Chanichim will realize that there are many different ways of settlement in Israel Today.  The chanichim will see the ideology behind each type of place.The chanichim will understand that as Bnei Akivaniks we believe that the decisionon were to live is an ideological decision.

THE CHANICHIM WILL LERN ABOUT THEIR CHARACTER AND WILL BE FAMILIER WITH IT’S PERIOD OF TIME AND IT’S DEEDS.
