Goals: Aleph:1. To learn about Lashon Hara

                        2. To understand that speech is precious

Bet: 1. To understand the power that speech holds

                     2. To learn about the dangers of Lashon Hara

Goals: The chanichim will understand the importance of seeing the good side in Am Yisrael, and put the other's faults into the right perspective.

Goal: The chanichim should see the irony in the Am Israel going to war against Shevet Binyamin, and how in this civil war, they accomplish everything that they were not able to accomplish when attempting to conquer the land in the 1st perek. This ends the Sefer on an extremely depressing note, stressing again that Am Israel need strong moral leaders in order that anarchy and events like this civil war, do not happen again.

Goals: To teach about the importance of telling the truth

Goal: The chanichim will understand that there are levels of giving charity. In addition, they will understand that giving charity is meant not only to help the poor man, but to make us into better and giving people. Finally, The chanichim will internalize that according to Judaism although people have private property, essentially all of their money belongs to God. There are many laws that demonstrate this idea, asking each Jew to give of their own to the weak.
